I started Chelton Brown in 1990 in the front room of my home with one secretary.  Within two months we had been so successful that we took premises in York Road and the business continued to grow. In October 2000 I merged the business with Property Management Services (PMS) established in 1975 by Doug Young, which instantly doubled the size of the company.  We relocated to George Row and with the town centre location; extra investment in staff and advertising PMS Chelton Brown soon became Northampton’s leading letting agency. My two partners Doug Young and Duncan Scott decided to retire from the partnership in 2005, I reverted the name back to Chelton Brown and we became a Limited Company.  After a major acquisition in 2007 we opened our doors in Daventry and now lead the way in Daventry as well as Northampton. Sali Brown - Managing Director

I have been in the Property business for 24 years and first opened Chelton Brown in 1990. The business has seen many changes since then. I first joined the NAEA in 1985 and after showing due diligence became a fellow in 1990. I have been in ARLA since 1995 and was one of the first people to pass (with Distinction) the ARLA 2000 exam that was brought out in the year 2000 to show a legal understanding of the lettings industry. Gill Wright - HR Director

I have over 30 years experience in the property industry which spans both the estate agency and lettings markets assisting both independent and corporate clients throughout the region.
