I have worked in the Property industry for 30 years and first opened Chelton Brown in 1990. The business has seen many changes since then. I first joined the NAEA in 1985 and after showing due diligence became a fellow in 1990. I have been in ARLA since 1995 and was one of the first people to pass (with Distinction) the ARLA 2000 exam that was brought out in the year 2000 to show a legal understanding of the lettings industry. I ensure that the business is run following all the principles of the ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents).
Having grown up around Chelton Brown from a young age, I always wanted to get involved and help whenever possible. Officially I started working in 2009 on Saturdays and holidays between studying, in a role that mainly involved arranging appointments. This position developed into an “Evening Viewings Clerk” as soon as I was able to drive. Since then I have worked in every department of the business, gaining good knowledge of how each job was carried out and developing strong relationships with each team.
Away from Chelton Brown I have studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship achieving a 1st Class Degree in 2015. In June 2016 I was offered the opportunity to become Daventry Branch Manager, which as you can imagine, I eagerly accepted. Since then I have developed a greater understanding of all elements of the business. Since then my focus has been to grow the business and further develop Chelton Brown as a brand, recent projects including the acquisition of a new portfolio of managed properties, future proofing the business in an ever-changing market place and the implementation of a new repairs system in Daventry. We are now working on the next project which will allow the Daventry office to keep growing and adding value to our customers overall experience.
I have worked in the property industry for many years in both sales and lettings. From 1993 to 2003 I was running my own successful lettings business in Northampton. Having sold the business in 2003 to pursue other work opportunities I never really got lettings out of my system. So much so I have undertaken several projects for Sali over the years such as assisting her during acquisitions of other local lettings businesses. I was very pleased to be approached by Sali recently to consider becoming her PA which I happily agreed to do. I am looking forward to a great working relationship with a fantastic team of dedicated staff who offer the highest level of customer service, which I believe is a major factor in the ongoing success of Chelton Brown.

I started work at Chelton Brown in October 2004 as Office Administrator. Within two years I changed roles to Property Manager where I managed a portfolio of properties, dealing with Landlords, tenants and contractors.
With experience, knowledge and various management training, I progressed to the position of Department Manager and soon took on the role of also managing our Renewals team.
I have my ARLA and Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management qualifications.
In August 2020, I returned to Chelton Brown from Maternity leave into a new position of General Manager. My main role includes staff training and compliance. I enjoy working for such a professional company and continue to strive to progress myself and the company further.
